Altura is an art gallery and studio space located in one of the oldest neighborhoods in Los Angeles: Lincoln Heights.
As an interdisciplinary collaboration between visual arts, music, and fashion, Altura will house a variety of exhibitions and events in an effort to bring together local artists and the community. We look forward to hosting you.

Diego Guerrero, also known as DJ Diego Fuego, is a Civil Engineer by trade with a deep love for art, design, vinyl record collecting and DJing. With native roots in Mexico City, Diego's tastes reflect his unique immigrant experience. Living and working in the Eastside of Los Angeles for the past decade, Diego has become a fixture of the Los Angeles DJ community with residencies at Bar Flores, Broken Shaker LA, Smorgasburg LA, as well as collaborations on countless events across California and beyond. As a founding member of Altura LA, Diego contributes to event productions and exhibitions that celebrate and elevate LA’s rich and diverse working glass communities.

Harnessing a multifaceted background in editorial, digital media marketing, event production and fine art, Nalani Hernandez-Melo is a portrait photographer, visual artist and curator that brings an intentional and curatorial approach to every project she realizes.
Heavily influenced by contemporary art, cinema, and spirituality, Nalani intuitively unearths a person’s or people's essence through her emotive photography style.
As the founder of SEEN - A Women Photographer Collective, she works alongside fellow female photographers to cultivate community and speak up for diversity and gender equality within the photography industry. Regularly facilitating guided meditations and sound baths, Nalani promotes and advocates for mental health and emotional wellness among creatives.
Nalani also shares her collaborative energy and passion for elevating others with sazón as the Gallery Director and curator at Altura Los Angeles.
When she’s not on set or in her art studio, Story + Image Studio, Nalani enjoys spending time dancing, singing and eating tacos with her young daughter Lunita.

Adrian Huerta is a 5 time Emmy winning producer/videographer based east of the river. The multifaceted creative found the balance of sharing his professional skills between business and community through Altura LA. As a co-founder, he strives to shine a light on and help cultivate a space for the underserved and under appreciated NELA art and creative scene.
Away from Altura LA this storyteller owns and operates a video production and marketing content collaborating company, Calibexar LLC. He is father to Antonio, and life partner of Nicole. Adrian also is podcast host of The Creative Dad Pod and On the Inside Looking In.
Gallerist & Curator
Eduardo Gómez (b. Long Beach, Ca.) is a Los Angeles-based multidisciplinary artist who received his BFA in Drawing and Painting from the California State University of Long Beach in 2007; and completed his MFA from the California College of the Arts in San Francisco in 2010.
As an artist, Gómez has exhibited throughout Los Angeles in a variety of group exhibitions and has presented multiple solo shows in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Recently, Gómez was featured in the critically acclaimed group exhibition “Rostro” curated by Ever Velasquez at Charlie James Gallery; as well as a solo show and book release of A Dodger A Day presented at Eastern Projects Gallery in 2021.
As an LA native, Gómez’s roots in Lincoln Heights date back to his time as an artist’s assistant with Mexican printmaker Artemio Rodriguez at La Mano Press; as well as a local Dj and co-founder (alongside longtime friends and collaborators Diego Guerrero and Nectali “Sumohair” Diaz) of the monthly cumbia dance party collective ¡Dinamita! at The Office Bar.
